Camp Lee Field Trips and Environmental Education

A place to learn, grow and experience the wonder of the natural world!

Customized Outdoor Programs
Introduce your family, class, troop, club, or group to the natural wonder of Camp Lee. Programs are curriculum-based, hands-on, fun, and educational experiences in the field or classroom. Most of these topics can be adapted for field, indoor classrooms, or outdoor classrooms.

Mission
Camp Lee’s environmental education programs embrace teachable moments in our outdoor classroom. Each instructor utilizes their own unique teaching style and will select activities for classes that best suit their expertise. Instructors will cover the objectives and principles of each learning station topic. Programs are correlated to state Course of Study and the Environmental Education Association of Alabama Environmental Literacy Plan (Best Practices in EE).
